Religious Freedom

Political Law:

“Thus, in America conscience is recognized as being subject to no human law, and the broadest tolerable exercise of free speech, free press, and free assembly, for religious purposes, is assured…But religious freedom is not absolute, for the right is properly regarded as one of equality rather than immunity.

“Its essence is freedom from conformity to religious dogma, not freedom from conformity to law because of religious dogma” (Biblical Law).

So, under the cloak of religious freedom, one has no right to force his religion upon others, nor to compel another to pause on the street to listen to religious argument” (Biblical Law, H. B. Clark, pg. 73)
