What Does Jehovah Require?

"What doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy God" (Micah 6:8)?

The question of the centuries: "What doth Jehovah require?" There are numerous concepts concerning religion, religious practices, and that which is required "of the gods" (if you will bear with me in using the vernacular of the world to establish a starting place).

Since the existence of man, there has been and will be, a natural curiosity toward the divine, the supernatural, the mystical, the extra-terrestrial, or a gazing into the unlimited vastness of the universe in an effort to explain the origin of all things, and an attempt to put a definition, and purpose to man’s existence: "Where did we come from", and "Why are we here" are questions that have entered the mind of every creature of reason: the conclusions being as varied as the number of inquiries.

Although man has attempted to take God out of the Creation, due to a "lack of scientific evidence," the apostle Paul handedly puts the objection to rest, saying, "For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse" (Romans 1:20). ret
